Dr. Bruce Aaron Beard is a gifted
preacher, teacher, and musician. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, he has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with
a minor in Business Management from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, and both his Master of Divinity and
Doctor of Ministry degrees from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond.
Dr. Beard has preached and taught extensively across the U.S. as well as internationally in Africa, India, and
the Philippines. In addition to his home town, Pittsburgh, PA, he and his wife have also resided in Richmond,
VA, Charlottesville, VA, and currently reside in the Atlanta Metro area. Dr. Beard served as the Senior
Pastor of First Baptist Church - Main St. of Charlottesville, VA for 16 years from 1993 to 2009 and since September
2008 is currently serving as Senior Pastor of Transformation Ministries International
of Atlanta, Inc. (TMI-ATL), a new church plant founded by he and his wife. He is married to the Rev. Gardenia E. Beard, his partner
in ministry and life partner of 23 years, also a native of Pittsburgh, PA. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Computer Science from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, and a Master of Divinity degree from the Samuel
DeWitt Proctor School of Theology in Richmond. A gifted preacher and teacher in her own right, she has ministered
in the U.S. and Africa, and serves alongside her husband as Pastor of TMI-ATL.
